After finishing this book yesterday, I can tell you The Color of Water will rock your world! I literally could not put it down. Full of tragedy and triumph, mystery and candor, The Color of Water is a book of delicious paradox. Well-written and honest. Definitely a must-read! If you have been wanting to read a book dealing with racial issues for Black History Month, this one is a winner. Five Stars. See the Amazon.com reviews for more info.

Okay, you've convinced me to read this one next. I'm off to check my library catalog. P.S. When do you read? Just curious. Sometimes I find it hard to fit it in and then when the kids finally get to bed I just want to veg in front of the TV for a while.

Hi Stacy!

Truth be told, I have been sick all week. When I am sick, I try to lay down, drink lots of fluids and read. This week, I didn't have much of a choice - this cold/flu thing is really kicking my butt. I also credit my current virus with giving me enough time to get my lunch menu done!

I try to get my chores done early in the am so I will have some time to read here and there during the day, while dd is doing her CLE. Most afternoons I have commitments, but I like to read in the evening unless "Idol" or "House" is on! I'm not a big tv person, but my dh is.
